Engineering Design I, Fall 2018
Design Challenge



With a group of 5, we designed a robotic gripper that could swing an irregular 2kg object to about 90 degrees(horizontal to the ground). The gripper grabbed on the object using a motor. And limited slipping was present. I was personally in charge of system analysis and material selection. Our design was also the second lightest in class.
