DNA follows principle mechanical properties even at nanoscale. Here is a video of a 6-helix DNA strand performing beam bending in oxDNA (a DNA simulation toolbox) simulation when a nano-Newton scale force is applied to one end of it. Below is a conference poster that was shown during CMU's own Meeting of the Minds.

It was really cool to be able to run different simulations on DNA structures and analyze the data myself.
